At Alicia Marshall Photography, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients and visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes, that's not cool! But just in case you don’t believe me, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure. Types of data we collect

Website Cookies

1. For technical purposes essential to effective operation of our websites, particularly in relation to site navigation.

2. For Alicia Marshall Photography to market to you, particularly web banner advertisements and targeted updates.

3. To enable Alicia Marshall Photography to collect information about your browsing and shopping patterns, including to monitor the success of campaigns, competitions etc.

Google Analytics

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Mailing Lists

From time to time we may run special promotions on our website, this will be communicated via a pop up which will prompt you to sign up where we will collect personal information so that we can follow up your initial request for our special offer or promotion. We use a data handler, Privy to collect your information and gather statistics using industry standard technologies to help us monitor the success of our current campaign. Data Handlers

Client booking system

Our booking system is managed by Setmore, which collects your personal details such as name, address, telephone number and email address. This information is controlled by Alicia Marshall Photography and is not used by Setmore in anyway to contact you or share your personal data.

The information collected from the booking system is used to confirm your booking and to send to you and myself confirmation of your booking and any amendments that may be made. You can view Setmore's privacy statement here.

Client Contract link

Clients that have booked their sessions through Setmore will be emailed a contract link. You will be prompted to read through and confirm the contract of service.

Our contract is delivered via Jotform and requires users to provide their personal details to complete and submit their form. Jotform is a data handler and does not have permission to use or share your personal details in any way. Alicia Marshall Photography is fully responsible for the control of your data and only allows Jotform to send myself and clients copies of their contracts.

Invoice and Payments

We take payments through Square, and use Square to send invoices via email. The personal information that is collected by Square is used to confirm the users identity and ensure payments are collected safely and securely,

We may prompt clients to leave a delivery address when taking payments to ensure goods are delivered to the correct address as it may be different to the address they have previously booked their initial session with.  

We will also use your email address to send your receipt of payment and phone number to text your receipt if preferred.

Square also gives you the option of storing your payment details for future transactions, if this option is chosen then you acknowledge and provide your consent to the storage of data only for the purpose of future purchases through Square at Alicia Marshall Photography.

Update to our Privacy Policy

All personal data is stored for up to 5 years and is only used to contact you in regards to bookings and orders you may have placed. Your personal details are stored with the above data handlers whilst you are working with Alicia Marshall photography. At the end of your journey your details will be removed from those systems and moved to a secure password protected hard-drive where they will be kept for up to 5 years.
